JANE LEW_ Cindy Janette Hefner, 71, of Copley, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 2, 2021. She passed unexpectedly after a long courageous battle with heart disease at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston.

She was born in Weston on September 16, 1949, a daughter of the late James N. and Ruby Lee Stover Westfall. In addition to her parents, Cindy was greeted at Heaven’s Gate by one son, Gregory Lane Hefner.

On February 18, 1966, Cindy married the love of her life, George “Bobby” Junior Hefner. He loved her beyond words, and will miss her beyond measure after 55 years of marriage.

Forever cherishing their memories of Cindy are her husband, Bobby Hefner of Copley; three children: Kevin Hefner and fiancé, Jo Ann Cornell, of Weston, Trevor Hefner and fiancé, Becky Mullenax, of Copley, and Ashley Beverage and husband, Warren, of Indian Fork; five grandchildren: Cody Hefner, Hunter Hefner, Kamryn Hefner, Brooklyn Hefner, and Mason Beverage; one great-grandchild on-the-way; one sister, Nancy Messenger and husband, Dennis, of Jane Lew; three special nieces: Connie Lea Perkins, Becky Sprouse, and Louvonne “Sis” Blake; one nephew, Jason Sprouse; and several additional nieces and nephews.

Cindy was a Christian and loved her role of homemaker. Her devotion to her family was a living testimony to her faith. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also provided caring and compassionate home health for multiple years. Cindy adored watching the butterflies, hummingbirds, and owls. Her family often thought the owl was her spirit animal, because she was always up late and available for a phone call. She also enjoyed reading, Chinese food, and shopping especially on QVC. More than anything, Cindy loved her quiet country life and having her family over for quality time.

Cindy’s request for cremation has been honored at Pat Boyle Funeral Home’s On-Site Crematory. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

We, at Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew, are honored and privileged to serve the family of Cindy Janette Hefner. Online condolences may be expressed at www.PatBoyleFuneralHome.com.
