Review: Siligrams Personalized Ice Molds

If you’re like me, by now you’ve got a half dozen promotional silicone ice trays in your freezer, regularly popped out for cocktails that shine best over a single, large piece of ice. Giant cubes are great… but they’re also a little boring, no? Enter Siligrams, which offers personalized ice molds that let you freeze your initials — or anything else — directly into the ice.

The pictures really tells the story better than I could in words: Upload your logo or your initials, and Siligrams pops out a mold with your design included. You can opt for standard cubes or go for cylinders, hexagons, frozen shot glasses, and more — and the trays come in a variety of colors, too.

I checked out a set with a “null set” logo and found the thick silicone to be easy to work with, just the right thickness for getting ice out while keeping the tray from flopping around while you’re loading it into the freezer. The effect on cocktails isn’t as impactful as I’d hoped — you may need to alert your guest to the imprint — but it’s still a fun way to add just a little personal touch to any cocktail you happen to be serving. Definitely a great stocking stuffer, too.
