Destination Florence Cocktail Week | The Cocktail Lovers

What’s on our agenda over the next few days? Florence Cocktail Week, that’s what. With 46 participating bars, all with three special FCW drinks on their menus (one signature, one with Italian products and one championing sustainability), that’s reason enough to be Florence-bound in our books. BUT as the week-long calendar, running from 17-23 April, is also bursting with international and Italian guest shifts, a host of parties, masterclasses, cocktail paired lunches and tours of historical cafes, we consider it positively rude not to.

Highlights on 18 April include a tour of the historical cafés of Florence; sustainability masterclass followed by a guest shift with Giacomo Gianotti from the World’s Best Bar, Paradiso in Barcelona at one of our favourite hotels in the whole wide world, Four Seasons Firenze. There’s also the Inauguration of the exhibition ‘Canvas’ by Florentine bartender, musician and artist Sacha Mecocci

On 19 April, it’s Tel Aviv Cocktail Week goes to Florence Cocktail Week at the Rooftop Bar at The Social Hub, before a guest shift from Ariel Leizgold; we also have our eye on Colourful Pizza & Cocktails, four pizza and four drinks inspired by botanical art and the colours that represent them at Hotel Principe di Piemonte.

Thursday is destintion Gucci Garden for a cocktail pairing lunch with Giulia Cuccurullo from Artesian Bar, London, while our evening is reserved for Roaring Lions, a guest shift at Cibrèo Ristorante & Cocktail Bar with Lorenzo di Cola from Experimental Cocktail Club and Antonio Ferrara, The Bar at Aman, both in Venice.
