David Leon Jr. is one of Chicago’s friendly neighborhood bartenders. As a child, he grew up in Georgia, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Since age 15, he has been involved in the hospitality industry. Throughout his 11+ years of bartending, David carried out many roles in various settings. This ample amount of experience has led him to the winning circle in several cocktail competitions. His focus is on the Caribbean, its tropical cocktail culture, rum, and multiple forms of rum and whisk(e)y. He is an expert in Caribbean rum and whiskey, Executive Whiskey Steward Certification Stave & Thieves, Canadian Whiskey Certification, and Tequila Producers Certification.
