He’s WSET Level 3 certified in tasting and has competed courses in Brandy, Bourbon, Wine, Tequila. Educator in Blind Tasting events.

Why are Spirits Awards useful to bartenders?
Constantly being bombarded with new bottlings and producers, I’m usually overwhelmed with options to choose from. I ideally look to other bartenders who are intimately familiar with the nuances of each bottle. I trust my fellow bartenders to know what’s good vs great!
What are the benefits to spirits brands to enter?
The Spirits Awards allows brands to put their bottlings in the hands of the very best bartenders from around the country. The talent chosen to judge and rate these bottles represent the diversity of the American bar market.
What should other bartenders know about the Bartender Seal of Approval?
The Bartender Seal of Approval is no bullshit. We are normal bartenders just like you. We weren’t paid for by the brands, so our opinion is just our opinion. We look for the best because we like to bartend with the best spirits.
